RIEGGER diamond files have been an indispensable tool for
toolmakers and moldmakers alike for many years. Moreover,
they are also fully integrated part of the serial manufacturing
The exactly formed profiles of these files, which exhibit
a cutting rim evenly impregnated with diamond grit even along
the edges of the profile, are quality features of RIEGGER
The free cutting diamond coating requires very little grinding
pressure. Higher grinding pressure leads to faster wear, but
not to a higher cutting capacity.
The thermal load of the cutting grain is not important for
filing. For this reason, we use only diamond grit as a cutting
material for files due to the superior hardness of diamonds.
A distinction is generally made between the following types
of diamond files:
diamond needle files, diamond riffle files,
diamond machine files and diamond hook files.
