Diamond dressing tools, and particularly stationary (rigid)
types, of varying design are employed for dressing conventional
grinding wheels in a wide range of areas.
The dressing operation technically conditions the grinding
wheel so that it can perform the specified grinding operations.
This makes it possible to meet all demands for workpiece surface
and dimensional quality while at the same time taking the
economic aspects into consideration.
Depending on the various dressing tasks and the corresponding
dressing results required, dressing tools are employed in
a wide variety of structural designs. These feature different
diamond impregnations and diamond models.
