The shape is defined by the basic body and the abrasive layer
based on the design of the workpiece to be ground and its
position during the grinding process.
The abrasive layer is embedded in the basic body positioned
in such a way that it can be completely ground off.
The basic body is a determining factor for the static and
dynamic strength of the grinding tool.
When used in dry grinding, it must be capable of dissipating
heat rapidly. Depending on the applications involved, we manufacture
basic bodies made of various materials. However, the standard
design is made of an aluminum/synthetic resin composite.
