The ideal diamond concentration must be selected depending
on the specific characteristics of the workpiece to be machined
and the targeted productivity.
While higher concentrations tend to be more expensive, they
also reduce machining times, thus lowering labor and machine
costs as well. In this regard it is essential to successfully
combine technical know-how with an economical approach.
The economic efficiency of the diamond concentrations selected
for our polishing media have been certified under practical
conditions through numerous tests. If used properly, they
ensure optimal results regarding both polishing agent expenditure
and the stock removal rate (see table).
